Alexis Antoine, originally from Louisiana, is a dedicated advocate for mental health and well-being. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling at Lamar University. Alexis earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Pre-Counseling from Nicholls State University, where she developed a solid understanding of psychological principles and their practical applications.
As a Registered Line Technician, Alexis gained valuable experience working with children who have learning and developmental disabilities. This position provided her with profound insights into how individuals perceive and interact with the world, deepening her understanding of their unique needs and highlighting the importance of patience and personalized support.
With her background as a Mental Health Specialist, Alexis has built expertise in assisting both children and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and parent/child abandonment. Her extensive experience in these areas allows her to design tailored and effective interventions, demonstrating her adaptability and deep understanding of behavior.
Becoming a counselor is Alexis's dream and a passion she holds dear. She is committed to helping individuals in the most effective way possible, guided by her motto: "Everyone has the answers to their problems.
