Monique Cecil

Practicum Therapist

Monique Cecil is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Walden University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology at The Chicago School. With a background in criminal justice, she brings a perspective to clinical practice, focusing on the connection of forensic populations, diversity and psychological health. Monique is dedicated to supporting all individuals including adolescents, young adults, and families, with a specialized interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and those navigating complex forensic environments.

Driven by a commitment to equitable, evidence-based care, Monique approaches therapy with profound empathy and compassion. She is passionate about empowering her clients during life transitions and is currently working toward future prescriptive authority to better serve diverse communities through integrated care. Outside of her professional work, Monique finds balance and joy in nature, spending time with her two dogs, and cherishing moments with her family.
